There's something magical about the way light moves through stained glass — and in Tomball, there's now a place where you can learn to create that magic yourself.

Splendid Things Stained Glass opened in September 2025, founded by owner Bonny Tunnell after five years of working with stained glass and noticing there were no quality shops offering glass and supplies nearby. Rather than keep driving hours to find what she needed, Bonny did what any passionate maker would do — she brought it home. "That distance sparked an idea: why not bring this beautiful, expressive medium closer to home?"

At Splendid Things, you can create original works, take hands-on classes, or shop a carefully selected range of glass, supplies, and tools — from beginner suncatchers to intricate panels. The studio carries Kokomo Glass, Wissmach Glass, and Oceanside Glass alongside tools, foils, soldering supplies, and more — everything you need to dive in, whether you're brand new to the craft or a seasoned artist ready for a dedicated space to work.

In addition to supplies, the shop offers classes, social events, and open studio hours for artists to work on their craft and connect with others in the glass community. Small groups, patient instruction, and a welcoming atmosphere make it the kind of place where creativity actually happens — and where you'll leave with something beautiful every single time.
