You don't have to drive to Fredericksburg to fall in love with Texas wine. The Bluebonnet Tasting Room brought the Hill Country right to the heart of Old Town Tomball — and it shows in every sip.
Owners Rachel and Craig Moore used to make frequent trips to the Hill Country to explore Texas wineries, but after becoming deeply involved in dog rescue, those getaways became harder to come by. So they asked themselves: "Wouldn't it be cool if we could taste a variety of Texas wines under one roof, without leaving Tomball?" — and The Bluebonnet Tasting Room was born. Situated in a beautifully renovated cottage at 401 Commerce Street in Old Town Tomball, The Bluebonnet offers a rotating selection of Texas wines available by flight, glass, or bottle — alongside Texas-made beer, sangria, and complimentary small bites on the weekends. Sunday mimosa flights make it the perfect excuse to start your weekend a little slower and a lot more delightfully.
The Bluebonnet also partners with local artists, giving them a space to display their work throughout the tasting room — creating an atmosphere that feels as much like a community gathering place as it does a wine bar. Rachel and Craig make every guest feel right at home from the moment they walk in, and the dogs are welcome too.
