Behind every great piece of art is a story — and behind Sallie Fisher's Art Gallery, there's one worth telling.
Sallie's journey to owning a gallery began long before she opened her doors in Tomball. After relocating to care for her parents, she found her mentor in Travis Whitaker, who instilled in her the belief that giving to your community is what makes a business truly great. In July of 1998, that dream became reality when Sallie opened her gallery — and soon after, Bill joined her, bringing with him a gift for custom framing that quickly became a cornerstone of the business.
Located at 914 W. Main Street in Tomball, Sallie Fisher's is the largest hanging art gallery in Tomball, representing over 40 different artists — including renowned Texas artists like G. Harvey, Martin Grelle, Larry Dyke, Rod Chase, Tim Cox, and Andy Thomas. Whether you're a longtime collector or just discovering Texas art for the first time, there's something here that will stop you in your tracks.
The custom framing department is a cut above, using only museum-quality materials with over 40 years of combined experience, hundreds of moulding and matting options, and every bit of work done in-house from start to finish. From canvas stretching to restoring and refurbishing old paintings, Sallie and Bill handle it all with the kind of care and craftsmanship that only comes from people who truly love what they do.
This is a Tomball treasure — and one visit will show you exactly why.
